Kris's sister took this when we were on holiday in the Ardenne last July. Ain't it cute? :P Why am i using it? Cos it's absolutely adorable!

My sister gave birth today!! Way too early (she was only 7 months in), but baby's doing fine, considering. Ways, around 1,4 kg, dunno how big she is.

since it's been like many many millenia ago that i've actually posted something with any amount of substance (and longer than two or three lines), an actual honest to god real update 

- I am LOVING the Host! I really liked the Twilight series, but there's so much more substance to the Host. It's taking me ages to finish, but i'm loving every page.

- going to the Night of the Proms tomorrow, as an aniversary from the boyfriend. We said that we'd go on our first year aniversary, but since there won't be any Proms anymore then, this was the closest to the due-date :) and yes, ALMOST A WHOLE FRIGGING YEAR! Never thought we'd get this far. but we're still going good.

- have a feeling i'm doing absolutely nothing for school, even though i am. A have three classes in a week, which accounts to about 6 hours total. I do the assignments due, read a bit for school... and that's it. I sorta promised my thesis advisor i'd finish a book he recommended around 15th and i'm only at p12 (it's a 144 page book... so it shouldn't take me this long). Not having a lot of class really disturbs your rythm. i absolutely have none.  i'm home three days of the week, two days of class, and two days with kris. i had planned to work on my thesis monday, type my notes thursday and work on paper for popular culture friday, but for some reason only what i do on thursday actually gets done. I need to get a grip and get on with the work i've planned for myself!

- what else... had my hair cut :P i have a pony! a real pony that's really annoying if you haven't got the right brush to style it (but i have since bought said right brush). 

that's about it... 

 not yet through the first episode of White Collar but OMG I LOVE IT!!

been a really long time since i've actually giggled all through an episode of just about anything.

if one should want to get a tattoo. a tiny lil one on the inside of your wrist, that's prolly not even gonna be visible if you're not paying attention, but your boyfriend would really not like it (he did not exactly say no, but would have some issues with it).

ok, i know i shouldn't say anything, but i srsly, i cannot not say something


so, hypothetically speaking (of course):

image walking into a bar, where people of a certain lifestyle frequent (yes, you/me being part of said lifestyle)...

ok, you know what? i'm using the big words here, those who've got a problem with it, that's your problem, not mine. i'm tired of sugarcoding it

starting again;

imagine walking into a bdsm pub, with boyfriend, meeting a bunch of people you've known online. down the stairs you go (cos yes, it's down in a cellar, hello cliché image) and there sits one of your uni professors (no, i'm not gonna give a name, let the dude have his privacy, but i can say, i've had him for two years). he was staring at me like he'd seen a ghost or something. really, half an hour after we'd sat down, he was still staring. i thought it was because he wanted to make sure i really was one of his students. kris thought he was staring like he was way too interested. flattering... and gross. but mostly gross. *shudders* if he hadnj't just ordered a drink, i think he'd had just gone up and left.

i feel kinda bad for him. who knows, maybe this was his very very first attempt at dipping his toes into this lifestyle. I thought he was married, but he was alone. so, either he's not married, his misses doesn't know or this really was his first try at checking out "the scene". anyway, it is kinda sad. i don't think i'd ever want to go there on my own. one, i don't have to. two, people always keep staring at me and checking me out (yesterday, a dude even tried to pick me up! kris was standing about a foot from me). third, it's really not smart for a girl to walk in there on her own, especially one my age/nature (for the previously mentioned reason). Boys can be rather predators. Dominant boys, certainly are.

it's a very very very small world... and why do these things typically always happen to me?

my boyfriend's mum just bought a brand new senseo coffee maker (and it's the expensiive kind, not standard model) just cos i like a cappuccino now and then...

and she could've gotten one for free from kris' sister...


Either the mum-in-law is really weird, way too generous... or just really weird


But, i am enjoying a jummy cappuccino now :)

I'm bored... I've been home and exam-free for a grand total of three days and i'm already bored...


On a good/bad/exciting/terrifying note: define_serenity  and I are getting our grades tomorrow... Good thing there's a pre-grades shopping spree to get some of the nerves off. Fat lot that's gonna do when we're getting that big white envelope with the uni logo on, containing exactly one tiny little sheet of paper.
